After suffering from a cold allergy for years, I noticed it disappeared within a week of taking two doses. Vitamin A seems to significantly help with my cold sores.
I started this for atopic dermatitis and found it effective against a sore throat during colds. A temporary increase in dosage swiftly eliminated my sore throat. I even give it to my children, as the fish flavour is easy to disguise in food.
I suffer from dry mucous membranes in my throat and nose, which often leads to cold sores and feeling unwell. Initially, I took a small dose, but found that 25,000 to 50,000 IU is effective, especially in winter. This supplement has significantly reduced my colds and improved my overall health.

Outstanding effectiveness
With 25,000 IU of vitamin A, this supplement is beneficial but can cause nausea if taken without enough protein. It's easy to consume as a softgel, but be prepared for a strong fishy taste. I find that for mucosal issues like sore throats and cold sores, it’s more effective than vitamin C. I recommend adults take 2-3 tablets daily and children one when unwell; it greatly helps.
